And yes, being able to easily edit existing applications would be cool. But may be tricky with all the languages / build systems around...

@djlink Well... There are minimums and there is real endurance. And real endurance depends on many things, including health. New SSD will retain data longer than SSD at end of life, for example. You'll likely get more than year in real use. But yes, it is more complex and no, SSDs are not forever.

@janvlug @khalid @postmarketOS @purism #librem5 is a great development board. It is also great computer. Before thinking you could use it as a phone, ask about battery life.

@allpurposemat @ollieparanoid In my case it was plain to see -- I did top, and gsd-color was just sitting that at 30% (?) of cpu. So I SIGSTOPed it :-). You probably don't have same issue.

@as400 @khalid @postmarketOS Actually... Samsung S4 Mini VE worked/works for me, quite reliably. Downside it earpiece does not work, so you are always on speaker, but I'm pretty sure there's some other phone that works better.

Gnome Software has this "wheel" button on packages... you press it, and it updates the package. That's not what I would have guessed it would do.

What is worse phone (OnePlus 6 with PostmarketOS) no longer sees the wifi. Any ideas besides "wipe and start again"?
