@jarkko That's very little information out of that log. Do you mind trying with drm-tip? mainline might be a bit behind.

@monsieuricon this is cool! You could also make a poll to see what scripts maintainers normally have hooked up in their git. Checkpatch is essential, but there are plenty more.

Can anyone more clever than I unravel the puzzle of why boarding a flight to catch the sought-after flight is cheaper than simply taking the sought-after flight directly?

Linux v6.8-rc1 comes with new document describing coding style for DTS (Devicetree sources):
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/devicetree/bindings/dts-coding-style.html

This marks the end of many unwritten rules, varying between subsystems and maintainers. At least, like with every coding style document, in theory. :)

Is anyone heading to Fosdem 2024? I'm gathering some good reasons to go.

@sima Which sounds like religion declaration in Switzerland, where atheism is put in the "Not known" section.

@sima Private companies should start the effort, as well. I think gender neutral forms would be a good start.

@hyeyoo Yeah... he is indeed great! We both worked at Samsung in Seoul (along with @krzk, by the way), and, purely by chance and completely independently, we started at Intel in Finland at the same time.

Lads and gals,

Linux'n'Beer CH is back for version 2. We're meeting in Zurich on Wednesday, the 8th of November. If you're in Switzerland, come by, or pass this on to someone who might be interested.

We're set to meet at 6:30 PM at the Burgermeister Kaserne[*].

@krzk and I will be there!

Cheers!

@hyeyoo tartare is quite common, yes... but in Korea is more common to eat tartare than in Europe.

@jarkko Thei are standard maildir e-mails, I don't see why they shouldn't work with other mail clients. However I don't know aerc.

I recently moved from "fetchmail + mutt" to "lore'n'lei + neomutt" and one of the reasons was to avoid duplicates, although it's quite slower.

Now... for curiosity, why did you switch from mutt to aerc?

@yha @krzk The idea is to make it a regular (monthly?) event... this time I have to admit we moved a bit late, but for the next time we will try to send e-mails earlier. Hope to meet you next time then! :-)
