The cat is not mine :(

I like cycling, powerlifting, bad video games and metal.
Otherwise, I occupy my time with various bits in RISC-V land.

@karolherbst I'll have to try again with that so, thanks

@karolherbst Actually, the standard bindings on my controller seemed fine - it was aiming that I couldn't get over!

@LWN launched kernel source database! This is cool! Another reason to subscribe to LWN! https://lwn.net/ksdb/

@karolherbst@chaos.socialHave you tried M/KB at all, or just used controller? I tried controller yesterday and found (to my surprise) that it was clunkier.

@sven @monsieuricon And really helpful for dealing with some of the garbage corporate mail systems that prevent people sending patches too.

I do my best not to swear on lists in case it gets misconstrued, but the habit of referring to everything as "this shit" is really hard to shake..

Is linaroconnect worth me paying for something to listen to the talks live? Is there chat interaction and what's the delay between talks and video copies becoming available? (I'd swear I watched some videos after the conference last year, but can't even find them now, maybe I am misremembering).

@palmer Nono, I meant that my question from my last post was probably rhetorical.

@palmer Maybe that;s a rhetorical question.

@palmer why does every conversation on there feel like the people barely know what they're talking about? When there's so many things being said that I know are false, how do I trust the stuff I know nothing about?

Heh, last time I tried deleting 10,000s of emails from a folder in gmail it fell over and didn't delete any. Now it seems to take forever, but it at least works.

@asb Yeah, having some move line commands is something I always miss when using unconfigured vim from a buildroot image or w/e.

I wrote "like this" twice in a sentence in an email and now that is all I will think about for the rest of the evening.

@ljs Heh, I read that article a few days ago & it pissed me off... But I don't think that the article's sentiment would be particular controversial for the typical reader of the paper.

@sven @ljs same thing happened to me actually, hit a wall just past 100. Took a switch of program to break through.

@ljs I dunno if I mentioned it, but kinda follows from the leverage stuff - the angle of the incline can make a big difference, the ratio would vary.

> Nice numbers btw

It's a long time since I did barbell incline, so I had to look back at my logs to get a ratio, I don't do those numbers at the moment, but hopefully I'll be back there soon... GL with the 100! :)

@sven @ljs Yeah, if you've got the spare depth (or fine enough safety increments) to place the safeties where you can just get lower and out it's the best option for sure.
