@oleksandr @djasa @piggo @pony @lkundrak It is bad. 100 years ago y and i were pronounced differently. These days, they are not in most of the country... so good luck making text to speech. "sli jsme domu" vs. "sly jsme domu" is undecidable.

@kernellogger @oleksandr @torvalds I'd really like to see description of a bug it fixes before patch being merged. Less than 10% have that. We have rules saying "bugs only" and "no theoretical bugs", but warning fixes are merged all the time and so are workarounds for various checkers.

@mkyral @amarok @voyager @itsfoss I even have swap on SSD. They should handle it just fine, unless you are overwriting every single byte every hour or something like that.

@sesivany @amarok @voyager Manufacturers quote so high Terrabytes-written numbers that it should not really be problem for rolling distro. SD cards were easy to kill, but I don't believe modern SSDs have similar problem.

You are assigning CVE numbers to bugs fixed in -stable kernels, without analysis if they constitute a vulnerability or not, copy/pasting patch title as vulnerability description... That is neither subset nor superset of real vulnerabilities. Plus you are not exactly welcoming when people try to reject an CVE.

Noha uz je skoro v pohode, tak jedem ven... a venku jsou srnky a cizi kone. Fajn, asi by se na ne chtel podivat, tak zastavujem a otocka kolem zadku.. chvalim, a podavam mrkev. .. a kun ji ignoruje. Chvalim znova, kun ji dal ignoruje, tak mu ji proste strcim do huby. Drzi mu mezi pyskama, ale dal ji ignoruje, a kouka k rosti za kterym jsou kone. No nic, je cas jet, tocim kone a on zacina zvykat... je to jasny. Kdyz kouka, tak nezere.

@vbabka @cas Thanks, I did not know about this project. I would be afraid that Google will try to kill popular instances...? Anyway, I'd like something running locally on the desktop even more (that will be harder for Google to interfere with).

@cas @hipsterelectron To be fair, ability to power down modem chips (Librem) and the need to explicitely pass audio samples to it (aka N900) makes security analysis easier and is a good thing.

@foone Well, it should not be microsoft opensourcing, it should be copyrights expiring. We should not need their cooperation. And for 486, patents are expired, so open source 486-class designs are available. Too bad Linux now requires Pentium class :-(. Search for MISTer. (And yes, it would be still nice if Intel did the opensourcing).
