@dcz I don't believe English helps you understand programming languages just because they usually share few words.

But I do agree than Iran, Russia, China and North Korea should get their own localized version of all used languages. They also should get culturally-optimal charsets (utf-8 is using too many bytes) and should get local versions of http and html...

@mkyral @stepan Gnome ma lidi kteri delaji UX... a neboji se byt odvazni :-). Tenhle experiment je "co takhle smysluplne vyuzit title bar oken"? Nerikam ze se mi to libi, ale... pravda je ze je tam nevyuzite misto :-).

@dcz The amount of language in programming languages is really low. Ability to share code worldwide is far more important than having to learn 10-or-so english words you are using in programming language.

@dcz Pocitacovy svet se rozhodl, ze bude pouzivat anglictinu jako spolecny jazyk. (Stejne jako letecky a namorni svet). A to je dobra vec -- protoze diky tomu si muzem bez problemu povidat, aniz bychom se museli ucit spoustu cizich jazyku.

@dcz No. Programming languages are US-ASCII because they are in English, and that in turn means we can all collaborate on projects easily. We do actually have programming language based on czech, it is called "Karel"... but it would not really be suitable for global collaboration.

@dcz Well, culturally optimal keyboard would be useless, as you could not write programs on it. Many people use en-US here... "Capek" is understood even without special characters.

OTOH I don't worry that much about Russia long-term. Their economy is still weak, and by switching to war-time one they'll just get less effective and will probably collapse. (But collapse of country with nuclear weapons may not be fun :-( ).

@ljs @ptesarik @thomy2000 I don't disagree that Trump is evil and bad. I just wanted to clarify that there's no short-term danger. Europe is significantly stronger than Russia.

@ptesarik @ljs @thomy2000 There's enough people in NATO that understand game theory. So no, Putin won't send ground troops to NATO country in next 3 years (anyone wants to bet?). (But that does not rule out hybrid warfare).

Českého prezidenta lze podle článku 65 Ústavy postihnout pouze pro velezradu nebo pro hrubé porušení Ústavy nebo jiné součásti ústavního pořádku. Řízení provádí Ústavní soud na základě ústavní žaloby Senátu se souhlasem Poslanecké sněmovny. Jinak jej nelze zadržet, trestně stíhat ani stíhat pro přestupek nebo jiný správní delikt. To však platí jen po dobu výkonu jeho funkce, z čehož plyne, že po uvolnění z úřadu již trestní stíhání není vyloučeno. Naproti tomu až do roku 2013 platilo, že trestní stíhání pro trestné činy, které by spáchal po dobu výkonu funkce, je vyloučeno navždy. Původní faktická beztrestnost se tedy změnila na dočasnou nestíhatelnost.

Czech president will still face criminal prosecution after his term ends. That seems more reasonable than what U.S. high court decided.
