Covid zase leti nahoru. Na logaritmickem grafu je to rovna cara, coz proste neni dobra zprava. Ano, pocet je asi 10x nizsi nez byl v predchozich maximech... zatim. Na fb se pomalu objevuje kdo je doma s covidem, takze je cas na ockovani. Respektive... idealni cas na ockovani nekdy v srpnu, nejspis, ale i ted je to podstatne lepsi nez nic. A hle, ockovaci misto je v Mukarove... Teda formalne je to Tehovec ale je to v Mukarove u hlavni. Za minutu jsem objednanej, dobry. Asi tri minuty cekam v cekarne, a za dalsich 5 jsem venku s vakcinou. Lepsi nez jsem cekal! Zitra asi budu mit pocit jako ze na me neco leze, v nedeli uz bych mel byt zas fit. Dneska jsem si odpustil vylet na kole, pry nemam sportovat. Neni jiste ze bych covid chytil, ale jsem si pomerne jisty, ze by to byla vetsi neprijemnost nez jedna cesta autem a jedno "nejsi uplne ok" rano.

@as400 @Em0nM4stodon State is more restricted than companies, and for good reasons. And no, when using POTS, companies can't just spy on you. Same protections don't apply to Facebook (etc), I'm afraid.

I agree that privacy is neccessary, but I'm afraid selecting country and learning how its laws work will be needed for that...

EU may have more privacy protections than your country, in such case it may be good to study its laws :-).

@maryjane Debugging on the go was more practical with hardware keyboard on Nokia N900. Droid4 has keyboard, too, but keymap is not good enough :-(.

@vala_lang I probably developed Vala on cellphone before, and yes, it probably works. But at that point Vala looked like thin wrapper over C. I'd really like to see good Rust GUI bindings...

@GrapheneOS 1) Still does not mean that people should not randomize IMEIs. If randomized IMEIs will become common, world will improve. In 1995 Linux was uncommon and would "draw attention". Today, it is very good idea. 3) agreed. IMO we should still try to improve cellular privacy.

@jfbastien There are exactly 8 bits in byte! :-). Whether unsigned char should be exactly 8 bits may be different discussion, but anything else is so uncommon that ... proposal looks good to me.

@rhys Not sure what response you'd like to see. West quite clearly does not want to fight Putin directly. Yes, we should give more weapons... Yes, we should think about enforcing no-fly zone over Ukraine, for example. But I'm not sure we should be attacking North Korea.
