Does anyone play with LLMs, preferably using python / llama_cpp? Is there good way to make it select from multiple choices? The model I'm using is llama-3.2-1b-instruct-q4_k_m.gguf. I'd like to take a sentence from user, and determine if he is a) asking for time, or b) asking for phone call, or ... or h) something else. chatgpt is powerful enough that I can just explain that in a prompt, but there should be way to do that directly with better results. (One option would be to ask for probabilities of multiple utterances, I'm sure there are others.)

@thibaultmol @kernellogger @tuxedocomputers Unless they wrote code for something else and ported, their code is derived from GPLv2 work, and Tuxedo can't choose the licensing. What they are doing is likely not legal.

@dcz I got Thinkpad 10 tablet (gen1). No video now, but at least it has been rooted already. It has Atom CPU, any idea for easy check if it has IPU3? It has autofocus back camera...

@as400 @rl_dane Wifi is doable, GPU is hard. And then there's power management and sleep support you probably want, too :-).

@linmob @trashheap Nokia N900 was daily driver, but it was still partly proprietary, so Microsoft was able to kill it. N900 should still be usable with Maemo Leste -- it does voice calls now! :-) Today's Gnome+Phosh stack is open, so can't be killed easily. Unfortunately, today's phones are a bit too big for my liking. But Gnome on phones is going to stay... (unlike OpenMoko, N900, ...)

Covid zase leti nahoru. Na logaritmickem grafu je to rovna cara, coz proste neni dobra zprava. Ano, pocet je asi 10x nizsi nez byl v predchozich maximech... zatim. Na fb se pomalu objevuje kdo je doma s covidem, takze je cas na ockovani. Respektive... idealni cas na ockovani nekdy v srpnu, nejspis, ale i ted je to podstatne lepsi nez nic. A hle, ockovaci misto je v Mukarove... Teda formalne je to Tehovec ale je to v Mukarove u hlavni. Za minutu jsem objednanej, dobry. Asi tri minuty cekam v cekarne, a za dalsich 5 jsem venku s vakcinou. Lepsi nez jsem cekal! Zitra asi budu mit pocit jako ze na me neco leze, v nedeli uz bych mel byt zas fit. Dneska jsem si odpustil vylet na kole, pry nemam sportovat. Neni jiste ze bych covid chytil, ale jsem si pomerne jisty, ze by to byla vetsi neprijemnost nez jedna cesta autem a jedno "nejsi uplne ok" rano.

@as400 @Em0nM4stodon State is more restricted than companies, and for good reasons. And no, when using POTS, companies can't just spy on you. Same protections don't apply to Facebook (etc), I'm afraid.

I agree that privacy is neccessary, but I'm afraid selecting country and learning how its laws work will be needed for that...

EU may have more privacy protections than your country, in such case it may be good to study its laws :-).
