@cas @katzenmann @pmOS_devices If your goal is to get great-supported device, people are working on that, too. Librem 5, PinePhone, OnePlus 6... You can support Purism by buying device from them, for example.

@vbabka @lkundrak Book a ride at www.zernovka.cz and see :-). Yes, 737max is safe compared to horse, as is basically anything. OTOH people would not try to pet a lion, and would not try to land 737, so why do they assume it is ok to pet a horse or ride him? Horses are way more complex than anything man-made, and they have different goals than people...

@axboe @kernellogger Having explained "this is unsuitable for stable" with no reply from Sasha and then patch being included in -stable... I'd not be so sure.

@axboe @oleksandr @kernellogger @ljs @vbabka Yes, having AUTOSEL opt-in would work. And no, checking patch is not easy, but in 3 minutes you can check a lot... and we had patches in AUTOSEL clearly stating "this is not a bugfix", for example. Review a series or two, and you'll see...

@axboe @kernellogger It would be great if -stable maintainers cared about -stable. Like it would be cool if stable-kernel-rules actually matched real rules being used. Plus, it would be cool if stable team actually reviewed work of AUTOSEL bot. I find rather large percentage of problematic patches there :-(.

@dcz @PyrolyticCarbon If you see a horse, please warn as soon as you see them. Sneaking up to horse+rider can lead to injuries...

@kernellogger @oleksandr @axboe @vbabka @ljs AUTOSEL quality did not change much, AFAICT. If patch is worth pushing to -stable users, it should also be worth 3 minutes of Sasha's time to check it manually...

@Migueldeicaza It is pretty clear you'd disagree with most of media coverage here. Its clear that someone is repeating propaganda here, but I don't believe William Spaniel is the one doing that.

@okias I'd settle for "here's a sink you can pour water in" and "here's safe tap water you can use"... but agreed. Keeping people in very dry aircraft air without water is not ok.

@okias Airlines have wide powers to harass passengers :-(. But "lets take their water then no provide any" is quite nasty. At some point, regulators should step up.

@Migueldeicaza I'd suggest "game101/How\ the\ Middle\ East\ Descended\ into\ Chaos\ in\ 48\ Hours\ \[xUFQ7F35jO8\]" on yt.

@Migueldeicaza I don't think I'd call for more journalism like that. Hamas gave Netanyahu pretty good excuse for the year-long war, and guess who is sponsoring that? I'd like to see Netanyahu in court, but he's not straight terrorist, and terrorists are rather common in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran :-(.

@flauschzelle Hehe, funny. I often get pretty exact feedback from my body. "You fell off horse, that's ok. Your leg hit his hooves on the way down, that's not ok. Please don't do that again. You can walk, so nothing broken, but you have around 3 hours before you won't be able to walk any more. Recommendation: get to bed by than." :-)

@tsalvo @carol :-). Yes, there are good reasons for small phones. Mine is "it should fit into my pocket when riding horse" and "I don't really need big screen on phone, anyway". If someone knows reasonable small phone, I'm looking for suggestions. I really liked nokia 6230...
