@piggz @PINE64 Note that SailfishOS is non-free, and requires account for installing software from app store. If you want to donate, I'd suggest someone whose work benefits community.

@trebach #Roku seems to be evil. That's bad. Court would probably find that the terms don't apply to you. You could sue them now, you could talk to EFF, you could have your cat click on the terms. You could ask them to repair the device.

@vegard I still don't see any evidence of analysis. ("What is the vulnerability? Who can exploit it?).

@Dimension Mobile phones are hard. But take a look at Pinephone Pro and OnePlus 6....

@nina_kali_nina With animals, we'd call this "trigger stacking", and yes, it is real. You can still go from 0 to 60 instantly if something really unexpected happens; tire burst at highway could do that.

Greg KH is turning stable commits into CVEs with zero analysis, not even rephrasing the commit message. That is very bad.

@oleksandr France is not your enemy. Iran is, North Korea is, but france is not. Maybe Orban... France has nukes, and is out of Putin's reach, pardon them for being lazy.

@okias Thanks for the hint. I was able to find a right place to fix in pmaports, but did not figure out that I have to increase release number. Now it compiles (and fails on mounting root). gitlab seems to be alive, I'll continue there.

@vbabka @ljs Python actually makes sense for a lot of stuff. It is BASIC of this century... Perl is ... more of shell.

@lkundrak @vbabka Well, game theory provides more useful vocabulary. Being "too brave" is very risky with nuclear weapons. See "International Relations 101 Full Course -- William Spaniel", available on yt.

@vbabka Game theory is complex. West priorities are: 1) no escalation, 2) Russia does not win, 3) preferably someone else pays for that. And results are as we seen :-(.

@craftyguy @vestige The disadvantage is that you don't know how long the built-in UPS lasts. It is the component that seems to die first :-(.

@jpm @CursedFootprint Maybe there's much higher voltage between pins that are far apart?

@airtower @aurora Umm. I hope this is stuff for consenting adults :-).

But yes, headcollar with some conduction is reportedly useful for horses that learn to go through electric fences.
